drafting

I like to draft one color if I can. I like to draft big beefy creatures. Most limited games boil down to creatures. I also like to be able to drop big creature after big creature. You only need a few small creatures to hold off the opponent till the big boys come out to play.

I played a girl.

The pressure was on. I was at my first constructed MTG tournament facing a girl. My deck was black and green with 4 toughness creatures. Her deck was straight red. I easily took game 1. After sideboarding I was completely mana screwed in game 2. She bolted my elves to keep me that way. She won game two. Game 3 was a complete nailbiter. It was very very close but her burn took me down in the end. I lost to a girl. I blame my land screw.
