Thassa, the God of wins in mtg

I want to trash a magic card. The card I am going to pick on is Thassa. I have seen player after player lose to that card on camera. The funny part is they didn't have to. Instead of thoughtsieze played on Thassa its used on a lesser creature. One player killed about 10 creatures, then lost to Thassa. Counterspell it, detention sphere it, just get it off the table or lose, your choice.

The time I built the two worst decks at the tournament

I went to one magic tournament back in the day with a friend of mine. I was playing a green white deck and he was piloting mono-red. I designed both decks. I went through a combination of incredibly bad luck and poor decisions to end up facing my friend as the bottom two of the tournament. I ended up winning but I did learn a ton of valuable lessons. Don't build your deck the day er night before the tournament. All the best cards are great, unless they have no synergy. Watch out for reverse damage if your mono red.(I saw this happen) How can a deck with 30 mana sources screw me twice in one round? Don't side out your swords to plowshares against big blue. (I have no idea why I did this, I think I didn't see a creature game one and he black vised me.) I laid the beatdown with a llanowar elf 15 turns in a row. Then lost. I played four Jesters caps, for the fun of it. I saw every persons entire deck. I lost to a scrybe sprite. I lost to a deck my deck was perfectly designed to beat.(mana hosed match) I had a blast losing all day long. If you get to face me in a constructed tournament, lucky you.

Red Devotion

A Rakdos Cackler, followed by an Ash Zealot, followed by Boros Reckoner into Fanatic of Mogus might be the best start in magic right now. A straight red devotion deck can hit hard and fast. You must be prepared it facing it in a tournament. The fanatics are the key to the deck. If you can counter or thought seize the fanatic you have a chance. Also, life gain is a red decks worst enemy. If you are playing red lightning strike and magma jet are two good additions to the deck. If you play red don't get burned.

Theros sleeper card

I though I would share my thoughts on Theros. The dual lands in Theros are worth playing. The weapons of the Gods are insanely powerfull. Polukranos is also good. The devotion mechanic is a great new game changer. If I had to pick a sleeper card I have not seen enough of it would be Spear of Heliod. Finally, I would not want to face Owen. Congrats on your success lately.
