The time I built the two worst decks at the tournament

I went to one magic tournament back in the day with a friend of mine. I was playing a green white deck and he was piloting mono-red. I designed both decks. I went through a combination of incredibly bad luck and poor decisions to end up facing my friend as the bottom two of the tournament. I ended up winning but I did learn a ton of valuable lessons. Don't build your deck the day er night before the tournament. All the best cards are great, unless they have no synergy. Watch out for reverse damage if your mono red.(I saw this happen) How can a deck with 30 mana sources screw me twice in one round? Don't side out your swords to plowshares against big blue. (I have no idea why I did this, I think I didn't see a creature game one and he black vised me.) I laid the beatdown with a llanowar elf 15 turns in a row. Then lost. I played four Jesters caps, for the fun of it. I saw every persons entire deck. I lost to a scrybe sprite. I lost to a deck my deck was perfectly designed to beat.(mana hosed match) I had a blast losing all day long. If you get to face me in a constructed tournament, lucky you.
